Pleasantly Surprised After Initial Disappointment

I am giving the Marc Jacobs Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick a 3.5 out of 5 stars. I will start with why the lower rating and end on a high note. 

First, I tried the Candy Bling (562) and I was underwhelmed. I was expecting this vibrant beautiful pink colour on my lips and instead it wasn’t even noticeable. I was also expecting it to be a stick with a felt end or something more traditional versus a lipstick looking gloss. For me, I had a harder time with the application process. The positive out of this experience was I do have very dry lips and my lips felt softer and slightly smoother than when I had put it on initially. 

Next, I tried on Uh-Huh-Honey (558) which I was expecting to be just as unimpressed with, but I was surprised. The colour was very noticeable and had a beautiful shine and tint to it. I also found it lasted longer (maybe due to it being more vibrant to start.) 

Overall, I am glad I gave the second gloss stick a go even after my experience with the first gloss stick. My lips did feel slightly better, but I find the colour can vary on vibrancy and how long it lasts.
